Thanks and Regards,
I have Windows 7 in a new computer purchased Feb 2012. On April 18, 2013 I started having a problem where windows live would give me a message "User Account Control - Do you want to allow the following program to make changes to this computer?" The program location: C:|Program Files(x86)\windows live\mail\wlmail.exe . In order to open mail, had to click "Yes". Mail would open but resolution was low (640x480). Any attachments to email would also be low resolution. I found that looking in properties for windows live mail \ compatibility that a box was checked "run in 640x480 resolution". I unchecked the box and resolution is now OK. Now I still get the same message as before - in order to open mail need to check "Yes". Also sometimes when I turn on the computer, I cannot get on the internet - need to restart the computer.
What happened on April 18th to cause this problem? How do I get rid of the "User Account Control" message to open Window Live Mail?
