what I noticed is the configuration for explorer was trying to use dial out for out going mail but once I reconfigured and added the proper web sites (that I trust)in the intranet section all is ok
now the post about inbox and deleted mail folders is a problem that might be fixed by shut down ,restart, then dont go to inbox but rather go in to live setup and change your password even by adding (1) character then link to other services to have those passwords checked Another thing I found was going through msn.ca I was able to access my emails with lots of speed and no issues .What you can try is link to the email through another service and this may allow you to delete the virous affecting your email and check CNET for a good up to date security program with scan capabilities hope that helps !
