I don't see a way

I'm using WLM with Windows 7 (Home Premium 64 bit), and I've checked the customization options without seeing a way to remove that search box. I looked through the options and brought up the online help. If there's a way to do that, it's well hidden! I've been using WLM exclusively for my email for over a year.
