Hi there Bill,

I went through the same problem for the past day or so and tried multiple fixed and finally found out the source of my problem with Windows Live Mail / Windows Mail.

The temporary files on my computer were very large, so even manually deleting them through internet explorer or deleting the temp files did not work.

In the end my solution was to download the free utility: CCleaner (you can find it by google search) and run "Analyze" to see how many temporary files you have in your system.

Then afterwards, Run Cleaner at the bottom right hand corner and let it delete your temporary windows files.

After CCleaner deleted all those temp files, I re-opened my mail program and all my mail messagtes re-appeared!

P.S.

I tried many other things before doing the above, but this was the only thing that worked!
