Question

windows live mail

my sent file is blank. I have reinstalled taken this to the store whrere it was purchased , techs could not fix.
if i install windows 8 does it have an email program included that hopefully will work .

Sent file or "folder" or "box"?

An old issue with some email apps is that we can view unread, all or read or filter such so it may appear empty.

Be sure you have the view of the sent folder set to "View All."

Windows 8 would be the same in this area.

Sounds like the content is gone for good. Did anyone tell you how to backup and restore this app's data?

I can't for a simple reason. I won't use this email app. Too many incidents and I mostly give people the nod to Thunderbird.

I will have to go back to thunderbird. I did like windows when it worked and was trying to repair it, have uninstalled, re installed many times.I do not like to give up but am finally going to! Thanks
