Will Far Cry run on my PC

by hshagel08 / February 14, 2006 7:27 AM PST

I have an intel P4 2.66ghz 512DDR PC3200 RAM and an nvidia GF6200 grahics card. Will Far Cry work at a playable framerate at 1024x768 resolution with all of the textures and shading stuff at maximum. (I'm not a hard core gamer a little bit of lag is OK)

Yes it will.

Your pc beats the hell out of the minimum sys reqs WHICH ARE: a 1ghz amd or p3 or higher (2ghz rec)
256mb ram (512 rec)
64mb Dicetx9b compatabile card

You should be able to this game fine with little to no noticable drop in framerate.

I have FC on the PC and i tried to do that and my videocard crashed. For comparison, my videocard is an ATI all-in-wonder 9600 XT. Your card is more powerful but that does not mean that it will work. Call NVidia and ask them, they should be able to give you a definitive answer.
