Resolved Question

Will factory reset temporarily fix my phone?

by DuckieDoll / July 12, 2013 12:58 PM PDT

Hi, I have a LG Marquee from Boost Mobile. I have dropped it and the screen cracked. Well now it's being all haywire and glitchy. I was told that factory resetting will temporarily fix it. I don't have the money for a new phone at the moment. I just need it to work for like 2 more weeks until I get paid. Thank you for your time! ^_^

.....might help, but that is no guarantee if the the phone is damaged internally. Won't make the situation worse though. Who told you that it would fix the problem ???

In reply to: Factory reset......

Well I was on a few different technical support forums and some people said it. I haven't done it yet, I wanted to get other people's opinions first and see if anyone has dealt with this.

I was a CS rep for At&t for 7 years and never once heard that as a solution for the type of issue you explained.
