Why does my homepage change every time time i shutdown??

Everytime i reboot my comp. and go into internet explorer my homepage is changed from YAHOO to some "cool-search.com" or something like that every time? Can someone help??

what happens if i tried all of those things and it still changes my homepage?

Jesse,

It's a common problem. Hijackthis is noted in the supplied link if the five tools don't find it.

I must ask a pointy question, so don't get too upset. Why don't you just fix it with the supplied Anti-Parasite Suite?

I ask such because I'm trying to fine tune my responses and better understand why people may not like having a resolution handed to them. Any insight on why you hesitate to eject the parasite would be helpful.
