Why does cursor stays at top of screen?

by Foof / April 12, 2013 12:52 AM PDT

The cursor starts at the top of the screen and returns no matter where you move it. It works correctly in safe mode. I tried several mice and always the same. It's iMac, Mountain Lion. I deleted Magic Prefs...still no go.

Erratic cursor
by Foof / April 15, 2013 5:53 AM PDT

I saw a post on another forum about some one's cat knocking the stylus off their Wacom tablet and the cursor problem was fixed. My stylus was touching the tablet under a sheet of paper. DUH!
