Why can't I update malwarebytes?

I have had mbam installed on my computer and have always been able to update the file if it alerts me the file is outdated. but now I get the following error message::

An error has occurred. Please report this error code to our support team.

PROGRAM_ERROR_UPDATING (11001, 0 Host not found) No such host is known.

What do I do?

It happens sometimes if their server is down, for maintenance or whatever, but if this is a repeating problem there may be other issues.

Try booting up Windows in "Safe Mode with Networking" and updating from there.

Report it but try the old fashioned way.
