Camcorders forum

About 2 years ago I bought a Canon Vixia HF M30 camcorder.

Never dropped it, spilled on it, etc. but one day when I turned it on and opened the screen it was completely white. When I would close the LCD a little it would go away, but after a while it just stopped working. Now whenever I turn it on it's white and everything else works, only the LCD isn't working.

Is there something loose w/ the LCD? Is there a way to fix it on my own... without having to unscrew, replace, and drill things? Or should I take it to a repair shop and pay $50 just to get the LCD fixed. The camera already cost $700 and I'm just a kid and I barely have any $ so any suggestions? Thanks.
