Clarification Request
Please clarify what game.

Both should be fine at card games. Both seem to have no dedicated GPU so not anything a gamer I know would go near.

Ok then, can you recommend any windows 8 touchscreen laptops that would work for these games that are under $700?

For now you'll have to share what you found. For video gaming you want as good as you can get in the video GPU and dedicated RAM.

Sometimes folk will try it without and learn this lesson first hand.

HP is a no sale name for me. My 3 month old HP had an issue and after 8 hours on the phone they sent a box for it. It came back in a week in worse shape and locking up in minutes. All subsequent calls were met with "We've done all we could" and worse. At 9 months it was clear HP was not going to repair the laptop so I closed the books on HP.

laptop not for gaming under $700. I bought an Acer 15.6" for 579 but not for gaming. It is an i3 with an integrated GP. They make the i5 version with integrated GP for around 700. For gaming you what a discrete card.
