Which netbook should I buy of these two - Toshiba or Acer?

by tarekatcnet / December 8, 2012 4:01 PM PST

I have two models of netbooks in consideration. One is Toshiba Mini NB510-1005 and the other is Acer Aspire One 725.

The Toshiba one has

-an Intel® Atom™ Processor N2800 (1.86GHz, 1M L2 Cache )
- 2 GB DDR3 RAM
- 320 GB HDD
- 10.1" screen

The acer one has
- an AMD Dual Core C60 ( 1 GHz) (1 MB Cache)
- 2 GB DDR3 RAM
- 500 GB HDD
- 11.6" screen
+ 256 MB Graphics memory

.........................................

Tasks I need to do:

1. Mainly reading web articles, PDF files in Google Chrome browser with lots of extensions
2. Sometimes I need to open up to 20 tabs at a time in my Chrome browser
3. Sometimes I need to keep open Encarta Encyclopedia 2009, Adobe Reader, Oxford advanced dictionary 8th edition and Chrome browser at the same time
4. And sometimes keep chrome open and play a video ( not Full HD's ) in Windows media player at the same time

.....................

I am not considering buying any other models, because of my budget, and unavailability in the markets here in Bangladesh.

It's far better in use than the other netbooks we have. Be honest, it won't matter which CPU and such because both are low end performers. At least get the nicer display.
