About "Buy the camera with the 18-55 mm lens"
by R. Proffitt Forum moderator / January 3, 2013 12:00 AM PST

I picked up my T3i with that lens on a woot.com deal. It's possible it wasn't the lowest price but it beat amazon that week. It's a very nice camera and I am shopping for another lens but can wait.

I'm sure you have folk that will dig for an even lower price but from what I see it's at their own peril. That is, they'll find the usual place and discover that they got the camera and lens but no battery. That was extra. Just one of the ways they can drop the price by pulling a part out of the box and yes, they did get you the camera and lens for the price.
