There is a side discussion of YouTube player issues on TVs and it applies to tablets as well. What's not funny is the best version I've encountered is on Google's own Nexus pads. Go figure why?

When tablets say they support 1080p video, does that include YouTube videos?
I'd just like to know because I have 2 computers that will support 1080p video in media players on Linux and Windows but neither one will support more than 480p on Youtube without getting choppy.
