Whats the best online store to buy camera gear from?

by J4R3D / December 26, 2008 10:58 AM PST

I buy a lot of stuff from Amazon and it's great, but their packaging is pretty lame.... and I don't want the hassle and time constraint to have to return a broken lens.

I plan on buying a Canon 24-70mm here within the next few days. Amazon and B&H photo have it for the same price. I figured I would buy from B&H because you would think they'd be a little more professional, but I just want some other opinions. I know about Adorama also. Anybody here have a preference? Thanks!

Camera Gear

The last lens I bought, I ordered it from BHphotovideo.
No problems, no complaints.
I find that the large printed catalogs they send out later are quite handy.

I have purchased 2 lenses as well as other photo gear from B&H and have never had any problems at all.
They arrive when I was told they would and in great packaging.
