What Software would I need
by DARETOEXPOSE / February 21, 2013 7:41 AM PST

You will need the full version of the software you intend to use for your company. For Web administrators, HTML, XML, try to avoid java script to prevent hijacking and redirects of the legit web sites or use any web development software you feel comfortable with.
DataBase administrator, I would suggest something no one is using such as Access or Excel they have web capabilities when using Frontpage or html.
Network Administrator the best is NT 4.0 if you can find it. The Windows operation is a triple operating system, it has networking in safe mode, server capabilities with mmc snapins or purchase a windows server for full control of your web admin, and database admin duties. I would not recommend upgrades, these are usually malware/spyware operating systems that uses Remote terminals from an unknown location to boot your computers, networks, and servers. Avoid upgrades RT's they are dangerous. There is no support from Microsoft with RT Eulas'.

None required.

All the web, database and networks we have at our office have all the controls we need to administer them.

But let me guess here a little. I'm running into folk that have never administered such systems and they are looking for apps to control such -> without <- having to learn what these systems are.

Such software comes with the items noted.

There are more titles you can add later but if you install one of those products, then the admin software is included.

As luck would have it, I've used such over the years. Well, not DB2 but have gone to seminars about DB2. It's rare to see that in the companies and circles I run. Today they tend to go with MySQL.
