webcam

can I take a picture with my webcam and put it on my computer to use as an image for selling on ebay

Yes, you can...the image quality won't be that good, but it can be done. However, if you need instructions you'll have to share what webcam and software you have.

The webcam is an IC50C and the software is Presto hope this is enough info.

well why dont u go to some of those websites that let you take pictures? they all use flash so no need to install anything.
try picanom.com or cameroid.com
these are the 2 i can think of off the top of my head
both let you take pictures directly but my favorite is picanom - slightly lower res image but doesnt imprint a logo so you get a clean shot
