I would not get Plasma. You can read in many forums about short and long term image retention. Those that sell this will write it's not a big problem. Why didn't they write it's no problem and the warranty covers it?

The 7000 series are nice, but...

...as Bob pointed out, static images and plasma still aren't the best of mates. If you are using the Vizio mostly as a gaming & PC monitor, it's a great choice. If you were more slanted towards movies & maximizing PQ (esp. contrast & black levels), then the Sammy would be a tad better.

The tv would be use with EVERYTHING tv shows, heavy pc gaming, heavy movie watching (on pc and bluray) i'm also on the pc probably 90% a day always surfing. SO something that can handle the workload out of the 2 lol

I would probably choose LED over plasma for your particular usage patterns, that include many types of static images/constant web browsing, playback of static PC content.
