I like what a member shared at http://forums.cnet.com/7726-7588_102-5064064.html?tag=posts;msg5064064 That title needs to be added to the Cnet Storage Forum sticky at http://forums.cnet.com/7723-7588_102-354911.html?tag=threadListing;forum-threads
32-vista D:\ (secondary hdd) was appearing fine in windows explorer ["we"] until i configured it for network sharing to allow sharing 32-vista D:\ with 32-XP Pro (version 2002//SP3), both on lan. to remedy the issue, i uninstalled D:\ from device manager and rebooted; D:\ hdd driver was reinstalled but D:\ still did not appear in we. D:\ appears in storage||disk management: it appears in the lower section ("unallocated") but it does not appear in the upper section.
what is the connection between network share configuration and we, and how can i restore D:\ to we?
