Both have demos so you can install and see which you like.
I posted this in another forum, but it looks like this is the more appropriate....forum. Anyway, I'm trying to choose a software to purchase for some upcoming projects and i'm not sure which way to go. The projects will mainly consist of mapping, floorplans, data graphs, etc. Basically an overall tool, and I really want a high-end look that i can do myself. i did a lot of research on Microsoft Visio, and it looks pretty powerful. However, I'm worried it may be over my head (I do have a lot of Photoshop experience, some Illustrator, and Quark). With design experience, I'm not that worried, but I've read that SmartDraw is a less complicated option, and has better graphics/icon/template selection, and less technical graph and chart styles. Can anyone help with this dilemma? I think they're both around the same price, and I just need to pick something ASAP for all this work. Any suggestions on other products would be great too. I just want to make the right choice. Thanks very much for any help.
