Video Player for a .MTS file

by bronxfifer / July 10, 2009 3:26 AM PDT

I've searched the threads here endlessly. None of the advice given has worked. I have a year old Canon HD camcorder that records files to the .MTS format. the corel sorftware disk they gave includes WinDVD-SE. No matter what they says it plays back poorly on any mack=hine I've tried.

The VLR program and WMP11 don't work either. I can't see even software to buy specifically says it will play this format file.

Can anyone give SPECIfic advice on this. I can't beleive I have this problem.
