I don't expect this to work.
I am trying to use my ps3 with a dell 1707fp monitor using hdmi to dvi cable. I can see the dell and ps3 are communicating (screen connections) though I do not get any video. The ps3 is set at 480i. The dell allows for digital and analog signals. The digital has 720x480.
Also, I am trying to use one of those retro video joystick games - a plug and play from Jakks Pacific. This I am trying to use rca/vga connections, here I get nothing? Help Please.
Because HDMI can mandate HDCP (which Sony does in this product) and because the industry deems HDCP "rippers" or removal to be illegal (odd but a fun discussion) there would be no such convertor on most markets.
If you check most monitors today they have HDMI and HDCP and would be fine.
Hello, thanks for the info. I ended up renting TV's for this..
I have another question: I have an HP touchsmart flat touchscreen computer. The only outputs are usb, can I project a video image onto another monitor that has vga or dvi? is there a cable that would work, or do I need a converter?
Know how to save a wet phone?
It's not with a dryer and it's not with rice. CNET shows you the secret to saving your phone.
