This was resolved when Canon supplied a new printer. Go figure if Canon has a software fix out.

I am getting the following message when I scan my document and try to save it as a pdf file. I am using a Brother MFC 9125 with ControlCenter3.
Unable to write the file to "Destination Folder"
Please make sure that you have correct permissions to write to the "Destination Folder" etc.
I can save scanned documents as file types jpeg, bmp, but not as pdf. I get the message above when trying to save as pdf. I was able to save scans as pdf (in the main user account) before I removed my main user login password. I then made a new password for my main user account (which has admin status). I did this through an alternate user account that has admin status. I can, however, save scans as pdf in the alternate user account. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Brother drivers twice and checked configuration. The only changes made before the problem was the changing the login password.
