Question

Ultraportable but Powerful Laptop for Navy SEAL

by cslarrabee / March 17, 2013 8:14 AM PDT

I am looking for advice on a laptop that will travel with me on deployments and be used moderately for gaming as well as photo-editing and skype-ing home.

I would like a laptop that has the following specs:

Price: $0-1600
Weight: 0-6 lbs
Display: 1920x1080 resolution minimum
RAM: 4-12GB
Storage: SSD + HD (A single large SSD is fine...128GB minimum)
Graphics: This is the tricky part. Most laptops that meet the above specs will have low-end graphics cards/discrete graphics. I'd like to at least be able to play BF3/Skyrim on medium.

So far I have been fairly unsuccessful with my search. Any help would be greatly appreciated. By the way, the price range is moderately flexible so if you know of the perfect match and it happens to be $2500 let me know anyways. Thanks!
