I must ask that because there are ways to get the BAD CAPS problem fixed even out of warranty but if you just want to complain then say so and we can just listen.
In many US States the warranty is extended by the time in the shop. On top of that if you register your product at samsung you may get another 3 months warranty.
It may be possible to get it back in warranty or get it fixed but first you must declare your intent here.
This is an ongoing problem. Model #LN40B540, model is newer, produced May 2009, and is not on the list for problems of this type which SAMSUNG is known for in other TV models. Service centre had the tv for 5 weeks, finally just ended up replacing the motherboard. Now TV is out of warranty and Samsung service centre will not help me, even though this is an ongoing problem with their TV's. Cannot get through on-line either. Why won't they fix a problem that was never fixed while it was in warranty?
