So look again and see if they updated the firmware. I know it sounds odd to update firmware in a TV but always check for that.

I have a Samsung 32" LED TV, purchased about 3 years ago. I purchased a model which claimed to be ready for Saorview.
I can now receive terrestrial digital tv from Ireland and from the UK. However, once a UK signal has been chosen, the controls (both on remote and on the set) freeze, and the only way out is to turn the TV off and then on again.
This problem does not occur with Irish signals.
Anybody know of a fix?
