yes it is ..goto settings in your mac and then disc setting ..all you have to do is check the box saying Do not sync applications automatically . alternately your email client is probably fetching data from the mac .. if so you will have to check the settings for your mac Angry . I also had this issue but i had to call the apple support to get this resolved last year when i was working for this shop sign company it took me ages to sort it out myself Plain but thanks to the apple support team it only took me 3 mins in the queue and 2 mins on the phone : )
