yes it is ..goto settings in your mac and then disc setting ..all you have to do is check the box saying Do not sync applications automatically . alternately your email client is probably fetching data from the mac .. if so you will have to check the settings for your mac . I also had this issue but i had to call the apple support to get this resolved last year when i was working for this shop sign company it took me ages to sort it out myself but thanks to the apple support team it only took me 3 mins in the queue and 2 mins on the phone : )

Hi..is it possible to turn off library caching for a Mail client on the Mac? At work I have outlook 2007. I setup Mail client to sync Mail,contacts and calendar. The cache is stored in the library hidden folders. Is it possible to permanently turn off caching?
