Tuning sky channels without direct hdmi connection

by Bradders4500 / June 29, 2013 3:06 AM PDT

I have just installed a TX-L32E6B in my kitchen. The TV wall socket is linked to my Sky box, which is in the lounge. What do I need to do to tune the TV in to receive the Sky channels (the TV does have a Sky magic eye connected to it from which I can change my lounge TV! From the kitchen).

Clarification Request
Unclear what the issue here is.

You lead with "tuning" then announce you change the channels so that's not the issue at all.

If I were to guess you need to get the video from the Sky box to the TV but only told partial details. I'm left to guess you would need some Wireless HDMI solution.

Hi Bob

Sorry for the confusion - the sky remote works the magic eye so channels changed on my lounge TV but I can't get Sky tuned in on my TV in the kitchen

Today's TVs don't do the tuning.

So my guess is your real question is how to get the audio and video from the sky box to this TV. I'd consider asking Sky Box for their ideas for wireless links.
