Tuning Panasonic DMR-EZ47VEB DVD/VHS player/recorder

by Spif454 / November 17, 2012 2:09 AM PST

I have tried to install my old DMR-EZ47VEB recorder with my Panasonic TU-CT20 Digital converter box and spare Phillips TV having discarded an older Sony recorder. I was previously able to tune the TV and recorder with digital stations but whilst I can now get the stations to tune in to the TV, I can't get the recorder to tune in properly. The display lights up and shows the channels, Input Select and Drive Select details and I can alter them but I can't get the Function menu to display, nor the Guide and Direct Navigator. The RF cables and scart lead are in the correct sockets. Can any please come up with any ideas to rectify the problem?
