I followed the answer and link and there is a tool for you for AVG
As to AVAST, I see they document how at the AVAST web site as well as the AVAST forums, but let's get you a direct link. It's at http://www.avast.com/uninstall-utility
i have a few uninstallers on my laptop windows 7 64-bit home premium. Ccleaner, Revo and windows control panel program uninstaller. however, none of these give avg as a program in their lists. avg doesnt give the option to uninstall from its user interface. it has system tray and start menu icons but i cant uninstall it. also, avast free didnt install properly.
