The GE A950 uses an older method of making a video (Quick Time Motion JPEG).
These are usually output by the camera as an .AVI file or .MOV file.
I can not tell from the User Manual which the GE A950 uses.
We need to know which.
Movie Maker would probably recognize .AVI but I doubt if it can recognize .MOV
.MOV was developed by Apple and you will need to download a .MOV player that can play it on Windows Computers.
You can try using a conversion program that can convert .MOV to .AVI and then Movie Maker might recognize it.
I recently recorded a video on my GE A950 digital camera. I have a PNY Optima SD 2GB card. I also have a HP Pavilion g series computer.
I tried to edit my videos in movie maker, but when i went to upload the videos there were no files to be found. So I went under "Computer" in my windows tab and selected the SD card. I found the files but they show up and play on my computer as audio files. I can't re record the video so I really help someone can help me fix this. Does anyone know what may be wrong.
