Trouble installing V305w printer!!

by therandle / April 28, 2013 3:24 AM PDT

About 2 years ago I installed my V305w printer on to my netbook and it worked fine. Since then I haven't used the printer so when I wanted to print something the other day I just plugged it in and expected it to work but it didn't. I troubleshooted the printer and it said that the driver was not installed and gave me the option to 'fix it'. I did this but it kept saying failed. I tried my other laptop and this also did the same. I removed the printer off my netbook and installed it all again but once again I am getting the same error messages about the driver being missing. I haven't got a clue what to do now. I have checked the framework is up to date and made sure I installed the drivers compatible with windows 7 but this doesn't make a difference. Has anyone else had this happen? And what do you do to make it work?
