Tor add-on for FireFox

by rapheek / August 15, 2008 3:03 AM PDT

Just wondering if anybody installer the Tor add-on on FireFox. I did and every time I activated it, I get no access to the internet and all what I get is a blank page with a white box and a link that says "Or you add an exception" and a "Try Again" button. I have to disable it to have access to the internet.

I just figured it out. Unchecked couple check boxes and it works fine. Went to a website that shows that kind of boxes "You IP is 24.118.xxx.xxx, your ISP is Comcast..." on windows vista without Tor. Tried the same website on XP with Tor and I got" Your IP is 89.248.xxx.xxx your ISP is Ecatel LDT..." (which is not my ISP). Usually without Tor on XP, I get the same stuff as on Vista.

Thanks for your help. Now I'm anonymous!
