tool for creating partition table on different platform

Is it possible to create partition table of type MBR from a system that supports GPT or APPLE partition tables

It might be possible to create the partition tables of different types, if you have a utility that is platform independent... but currently thr are no tools as such, according to my knowledge.......

Why you ask this ?

I am planning to build a tool called partition reader to re create these partition tables of any type on multiple platforms..... basically platform independent.... it would be nice if you could provide me more information about it... my id is kishen.gajanan@gmail.com

There are existing tools that I would use before reaching for an platform agnostic solution.

-> Is there any reason not to use tools that exist today?
