Time readout on top iPad

by gsjr / November 9, 2012 11:00 PM PST

Very top of page on iPad time is displayed. At present it it 8:00am Just to the left of the first digit is a half moon shaped display ?? Thought that it meant evening, but since it is in the AM that is not the correct assumption.
Any one out there have a clue ?

Which iOS ???
by birdmantd Forum moderator / November 10, 2012 9:02 AM PST

I have an original iPad running iOS 5.1.1 and don't have such an icon. I agree that there must be some installed application causing the icon to be displayed.
