TC-L60E55 Netflix Blinking/Flicker

Recently purchased a TC-L60E55, and while using the built in Netflix app, have been experiencing random black screen blinks. They are very brief, and sometimes don't happen very often. When it is happening it's very distracting, and somewhat ruins the view experience. I have never had this issue while using Netflix on any other device.

Do any of you know if it's a setting on the t.v. that needs to be adjusted, or of any type of solution for this issue?

In the netflix app, on another model the blink is how they tell us of a quality level change. Some folk only discover this nugget after a long round of support calls.

Frankly it's a shame they wrote the app that way. Fix? Faster internet connections and move the router to about 20 feet if over wifi.

While it's a bit odd that the Netflix app on the t.v. does this, but none of the other ones I have used do it, I am not terribly surprised that it's the app itself, and not the t.v. If only it was easier file complaints with Netflix. I will make a point of calling them in the near future. Thanks for your response Bob!

The apps are not written by the same companies. In fact it's almost like your Windows ecosystem (keep reading.)

LG and other smart tv makers offer a platform and hope that Netflix and others will port the apps to their platform. So what Netflix does, does not have to occur in other apps.

Hope that helps you understand this a bit more. Here's a link about the blink on another platform as I can't find one for LG.

Again, not everyone documents this and I only supply this so you don't lose time chasing an elusive issue.
