Lots of reasons.
Huge pain for G2, MyTouch, Nexus One....really any HTC right now on T-Mobile. T-mobile customer support forums are clogged with people, like myself, who are seeing battery drain from full charge to dead in 3-4 hours. The customer care reps are totally in the dark even though this has been happening since July 28th, and are telling customers that they have a bad battery when its is a network issue. T-Mobile is testing some of their code for HSPA+, HSDPA , UMTS, EDGE and maybe some AT&T merger related issues.
