System restoration help

by hsong8880 / July 8, 2013 1:56 PM PDT

My dad deleted my music folder which had 2000+ songs, so in order to get it back I did a system restore to the day it was still on the computer. I only got the music folder back though, no songs in it and when I tried to do a system restore again, the date 07/04/13 disappeared. What can I do to get my songs back? This is urgent my itunes isn't syncing cause it can't find the songs. Thank you!

System Restore (SR) is about the OS. Not your files.

If you still have tunes on the iPhone, go look up iRip.

Also, why no backup? Folk often learn this the hard way.

System Restore helps you restore your computer's system files to an earlier point in time. It's a way to undo system changes to your computer without affecting your personal files, such as e-mail, documents, or photos.
