If you want to switch to Tracfone, you will have to buy a Tracphone. They will not allow you to use your existing Verizon handset.

Info from verizon phone to new tracfone

I understand that with tracfone I must buy a phone from them but I want to know how to
transfer my verizon phone info into a new tracfone as my verizon phone has no sim card to transfer to tracfone.

Some, not all, cellular kiosks and stores have a device called "Cellbrite" that allows them to transfer data between phones even with different carriers. Just ask at the store if they can do it for you. Most stores with the Cellbrite will do it free if you buy a phone/service from them. Good luck, hope that helps.
