Starting small online shop

by JamesBenWallace / October 3, 2012 4:19 AM PDT

Hello there. I'm starting a small online body jewelry shop and I need something to manage it with. I currently use a relatives computer. I was deciding between a laptop or tablet.

I don't have a very big budget so I found cheap stuff. Which one should I go with? Please help

Does the APPLICATION (software) you want run on those machines?

The tablet is nice but useless if you don't have your apps.

All I need is an ftp client and a good browser. Android 4.0 can run chrome. Am I correct?

In reply to: Chrome?

So you can make all contents (that's what you ftp) on an Android tablet? Then it's OK.

In reply to: Chrome?

While Android 4.0 includes the Chrome browser I encountered someone that wanted install "the Chrome browser." After a while they told me what they were really up to. They wanted an add on that was only working on their PC and they thought if they could install the PC version of Chrome that it would work.

Another discussion about how Android is not Windows or such followed.
