'Secure Sockets Layer' (SSL) and it's successor Transport Layer Security (TLS), are cryptographic protocols, which provide secure communications on the Internet. SSL helps you get important data (like your credit card information) safely transferred from your computer to another (e.g. your bank server), so that noone who is not authorized, will get hold of the information. Find more details about SSL here. With our SSL Hosting Package you can use many different SSL certifiates with your hosting account!

Check the WEB SECURITY section, select SSL Certificates for product details.
For assistance verify ONLINE HELP CENTER & EMAIL SUPPORT SYSTEM
http://localhostpro.com/support.html

A certificate serves as an electronic "passport" that establishes an online entity's credentials when doing business on the Web. When an Internet user attempts to send confidential information to a Web server, the user's browser accesses the server's digital certificate and establishes a secure connection.

An SSL certificate contains the following information:

The certificate holder's name
The certificate's serial number and expiration date
A copy of the certificate holder's public key
The digital signature of the certificate-issuing authority
