Sreaming using BR100 Sony adapter

How do I stream from downloaded movies on HP Laptop to my BR100 adapter Sony player to TV.

You don't stream to the TV. You use the TV to read the movie from your DLNA compatible device, as shown in http://sonycic.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/1500/~/dlna-wireless-uwa-br100-usb-adapter.

But you forgot to tell the model of your HP laptop so nobody can tell if it is DLNA compatible.

If it fails, just burn the movie to a DVD and play that in your DVD player. Or see if your TV can read from an external hard disk or USB stick and copy your movie to that device.

I think I've streamed from this HP G61 before. Just got back from 5 month vacation and have forgotten how to do it.
