Question

speakers faulty on 7 series LED Samsung TV

by camnich1 / January 24, 2013 4:22 AM PST

Hello,
Can anyone advise me please?
I bought a UE46B7000 46" LED Samsung TV in April 2010.
It has had light use as we are at work during the day.
The speakers have stopped working properly.
I have been through all the settings but no joy!
It sounds really tinny and if you turn it up it sounds fuzzy and tinny.
Not sure what to try next

Hi there,
Sorry for taking time to come back.
the model is UE46B7000
Serial No. BAF43SR500015W
Software T-CHU7DEUC-2000.2

It seems like the bass has gone. If i use the equaliser to increase the bass it sounds all hissy

Must be some other country.

Time to contact Samsung in your country. If I was unclear, my thought is to try a sound bar. Out of warranty repairs are usually more than a sound bar.

Hi camnich1,

Thanks for your message. But just so you know, I support US products and customers. And from what I can tell, this model is for Netherlands. (Correct me if I'm wrong.) So if you want the most accurate information, here's the Samsung Netherlands portal for support on that product: http://www.samsung.com/nl/support/model/UE46B7000WPXXN

Hope this helps you!

Regards,
