Sony Vaio SVS1313 Custom, IPS?

by r2detard / April 6, 2013 8:41 AM PDT

I have just ordered a custom Sony Vaio 13.3 Inch S-Series.

And since I could customize it the way I wanted, I put a ''Vaio Premium Display'' with 1600x900 res, instead of the usual ''Vaio Plus'' display.

And since this is the same screen as on their Sony Vaio S Premium series, which by the way I dont know is IPS either, but I am assuming it is, since it is infact a premium model.

Anyways, the question is, is the screen IPS or is it just standard TN?
I have been trying to reach out to their customer representatives, but only gotten vague to no answers :/

So I hope someone here knows more than I, and seemingly their customer reps

Thanks in advance for answers!

If they won't answer a sales question like this, why buy from them? It's a bad sign of how they'll treat you later.

Sony is known for its quality and I got a free screen + gpu upgrade that was worth some, so i just went with them.

I am sure I wont regret that, it's not that they were treating me badly, but they were rather unknowing.
Now, if anybody can answer my question, is the premium screen IPS or TN?
