Sony DVD DCR403

Hi,
I had been connecting my DVD DCR 403 to my PC through the USB port .From the recent service pack 2 update of Vista, my PC does not recognize the DVD any more. Do you have any suggestions? I lost my Sony picture package CD.

Two thoughts.

1. Get the lost CD replaced.
2. Since this is a DVD recorder, upgrade your video editing software to something that supports the recorded dvd.
