Sony DVD camcorder mini DVD problem...

by Ali151516 / February 28, 2008 8:11 AM PST

I have a Sony DCR-DVD 105 Mini DVD camcorder. There's lots of movies on it that I want on my windows vista PC. But when I put the mini DVD in my cd slot the PC says that it doesn't recognize the format, I formated the RW disc in the camcorder though. What should I do to get my movies on my computer?

1. Try to finalize the media (in the camera per the instruction manual.)
2. Look up ISOBUSTER.

Is that optical drive in your computer
by boya84 / February 28, 2008 12:01 PM PST

really only a CD dive? Because if it is, ISOBuster won't help... The drive needs to be able to read DVDs... the data on DVDs is formatted differently that CDs.
