sony Bravia XBR5 46 HDTV clarity and pixelation problems

Have XBR5 46 HDTV with blurry picture and pixelation on HD
Had these problems right out of the box. Installer thought that it might be the TV so they replaced the unit...same blurry picture. Changed out HDMI cables.. same effect. They indicated that it was probably a signal/cable problem and to call DISH Network. Dish network replaced the box and said that the incoming signal was high and that there was nothing wrong with the system from their end. ALthough they admitted that they could see the blurriness and intermittant pixelation problem. I am at a loss as to what to do. I have tried adjusting the numerous picture controls to no effect. while I am not an expert, it appears to me that the signal from the Dish box is not able to transmit fast enought into the TV resulting in intermittant skipping and blurriness. I was very impressed with the picture quality of the XBR5 when it was set up using Direct TV at two different Stores... I am now extremely frustrated after plunking down 3 grand for this TV only to have no significant improvement in picture quality over my old analog sony. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I might be able to resolve the problem.

turn OFF

all enhancements on the tv.
Put the tv in custom mode, when it is in the other modes (vivid & Standard) the tv is running stuff you can not turn off & also does not display the stuff running. Custom you can see & turn off/on the stuff.

Start with-
Noise reduction: off (you may want to play with that at some point)
DCR: High density
Advanced setting: turn everything off
