I have a question. I think I know your answer.
Do you feel the film owner can no longer control their creation?
That is, you are the one that decides if it must be rentable or now?
And how will you feel if the current law about 5 year limitations on interviewed material means that a film after that much time might become unavailable?
I hear you but your post makes me think you are new to the industry.
I wanted to rent Monica Verlour (not the only movie with this problem) but discovered I cannot. I have to buy it. Apple, the corporation that loves to de-value its customers while pocketing billions. Netflix here I come.
