software preinstalled for Motorola Photon 4G

by redbiker99 / March 2, 2012 1:52 PM PST

How can I tell what software came preinstalled on my Photon 4G? I assume there is a standard set of programs? I've gone to the Motorola site and just ran around in loops without getting any help.
Why should I replace any of it with other programs?
Any help appreciated, thanks.

You can't. Here's one example.

Just try to find any trace of the CIQ software

We know it's there. Very well hidden too. So there is no standard set because they push out the software based on location and the final cellular carrier's demands.

In other words, there is no direct answer to your question. But there is an explanation why there is no list.

OK, sounds like I'm out of my comfort zone. again... I guess I won't worry about it . As little as I know about smartphones it probably doesn't matter. Thanks for the answer.

Light bulbs you shouldn't buy

There are plenty of dimmable LED light bulbs, but make sure you don't buy the ones that flicker when you dial them down.
